EPIC Volunteer Opportunities

We are privileged to have volunteers support our mission. As an EPIC volunteer, you can help make life healthier and brighter for our many clients, including children, families and others who are impacted by HIV/AIDS and in need of care, compassion and support.

Whether you want to assist on our campuses, support our special events or lend a hand in another role, we are sure you will enjoy being part of our family and fulfilled serving our community. Volunteers receive free training and have flexible shifts available with opportunities in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Join us today.

The first step to volunteering is to complete a four-hour Empath Health Volunteer Orientation provided at no cost at our three service centers (Palm Harbor, Clearwater and St. Petersburg).

Volunteer HIV testers require additional Department of Health courses (501 training and Clearview rapid test) and shadowing with our certified testers.

In addition to EPIC, there are a variety of other volunteer needs with Empath Health and its member organizations. For more information on our volunteer opportunities, including how to register for training, contact volunteer services at (727) 523-3440.
