Change Lives – Volunteer

We are privileged to have volunteers support our mission. As an EPIC volunteer, you can help make life healthier and brighter for our many clients, including children, families and others who are impacted by HIV/AIDS and in need of care, compassion and support.

Whether you want to assist on our campuses, support our special events or lend a hand in another role, we are sure you will enjoy being part of our family and fulfilled serving our community. Volunteer opportunities are available at many times and locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Join us today.

To become a volunteer, you must take the four-hour Empath Health volunteer orientation training provided for free at the three Empath Health community service centers. If you wish to be a volunteer HIV tester, additional Department of Health courses (501 training and Clearview rapid test) and shadowing with our certified testers are required.

In addition to EPIC, there are a variety of other volunteer needs with Empath Health and its member organizations. For more information on our Volunteer Opportunities, register online for an orientation training or call volunteer services at (727) 523-3440.
