🌟 Celebrating Nurses Week: Honoring Our APRNs 🌟At EPIC, we believe in Full Life Care — care that uplifts, empowers, and protects. This Nurses Week, we celebrate the incredible compassion and commitment of our APRNs who live this mission every day.We asked them to share moments when they felt most connected to this calling. Their stories speak volumes:💙 Katherine Adelufosi, APRN:“One of my most memorable moments was helping a young patient who came in fearful and unsure about starting PrEP. Through education, reassurance, and a few heartfelt conversations, they left not only with a plan for their health but with a renewed sense of confidence. Seeing them come back months later, thriving and proactive, reminded me why this work matters so deeply. It is rewarding to see patients making better health decisions because of your time and care.”💙 Nicole White, APRN:“We had a patient who was exposed to HIV and needed time-sensitive medication. Her insurance required a specific pharmacy — which didn’t have it in stock — and she couldn’t afford it out of pocket. With our pharmacist’s help, we provided it at no cost and within the critical window. She called back in tears, saying, ‘No one has ever done this for me.’ That day, I felt profoundly helpful. That’s why I do what I do.”These are just two of the many stories that reflect the heart of our care. To all our nurses and APRNs: thank you for your unwavering dedication to health, dignity, and hope. 💙#NursesWeek #APRNs #FullLifeCare #ThankYouNurses #HIVPrevention #PrEP ... See MoreSee Less
